Alamat is a multi-ethnic, pop, dance, hiphop and R&B boy group consisting of leader Taneo (Ilokano/Kalinga), Mo (Half-Black Filipino), R-ji (Waray-waray), Alas (Bisaya), Tomas (Bicolano), and Jao (Kapampangan). They sing and rap in their respective native languages, and infuse modern and traditional cultural Filipino elements in their work in hopes of spreading their advocacy for the PH to recognize and appreciate our cultural diversity.
